Natalie Waddell is a Toronto based ceramic artist. Starting her academic ceramic education

at Toronto’s George Brown College in 1998 she attended the Sheridan College Ceramic Craft

and Design program from 2000 to 2003. Natalie has also participated in many workshops with leading ceramic artists including Robin Hopper, Marc Egan, Akio Takamori, Matt Nolan,

Pete Pinell, Mary Lazier, Jean Pierre LeRock, Susan Low-Beer, Harlan House, Sam Chung, Wendy Vervoot, Tony Clennell, Linda Sormin, Bruce Cochrane and Walter Ostrom.

Since establishing her studio practice Natalie has continuously explored and developed

new bodies of work both functional and sculptural as well as teaching classes and workshops. She is an active member of the Akin Artist Collective, the Toronto Potters Guild,

Hamilton Potters Guild, FUSION: The Ontario Clay and Glass Association, NCECA -the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts and Craft Ontario. Natalie exhibits and sells her work at the Gardiner Museum shop as well as other galleries and venues throughout the province.
